The Carousel Ocean is our newest world — the rebuilt Genesis Part 1, whose vast simulated sea has become a true naval sandbox: miles of open water, randomly generated islands and fortresses, and physical ships you build, arm and sail yourself. Five biomes ring the deep — ocean, bog, arctic, volcano and the lunar reaches — each stranger than the last.
PvE rules hold here like everywhere else on the cluster: your rivals are the sea, the storms and the missions, not each other. Sloop, brigantine or galleon — mount cannons, load your tames aboard, and chase hexagons across a world that was designed to test heroes.
WORLD OVERVIEW
Genesis Part 1 — the Simulated Sea
Rebuilt from scratch in UE5 and released July 2026, Genesis Part 1 turns the old simulation into a naval age: miles of generated open water between five redesigned biomes, ship-to-shore fortresses, and Moeder waiting at the bottom of it all. Free for every ASA owner; the pirate-flavoured Tides of Fortune DLC docks alongside it.

Genesis was built to test endgame survivors; the lunar biome shows no mercy.

Huge
Five biomes plus miles of generated open sea between them.
TERRAIN
Sea & simulations
Open ocean, bog, arctic, volcano and low-gravity lunar.
VIBE
Nautical / Uncanny
A fairground sea with something underneath it.
WHY THE CAROUSEL OCEAN?
The Carousel Ocean is the new frontier — Genesis rebuilt in UE5 as an open naval sandbox where you craft real warships, run missions for hexagons, and sail a sea that shouldn’t spin but does. Every fleet needs a harbour. Yours starts here.
Life on Genesis Part 1 comes with:
- ★PvE-only — nobody can raid you
- ★No wipes — your fleet endures
- ★Buildable warships — sloop to galleon
- ★Missions & hexagon rewards
- ★Five biomes, one strange sea
- ★Free with ASA — no DLC needed
THE LEGEND OF THE CAROUSEL OCEAN
At the bottom of the sea, say the Norse, turns Grotti, the giant-quern that grinds the salt into the water; the sages of the east say the Dragon Kings ride their processions in a great circle beneath the waves, forever. Both were describing the Carousel — the sea that turns like a fairground wheel, carrying its islands round and round. But the old captains knew what the wise ones wouldn’t say aloud: a wheel does not turn itself. Something beneath this ocean keeps it spinning — patient, symmetrical, humming like machinery dressed up as myth. Sail long enough and you’ll hear it too. Mother of the deep, the sailors call her. Moeder. Be polite on her sea.

NOTABLE BIOMES
Explore the unique ecological zones of the Carousel Ocean.
KEY RESOURCES
Silica & Black Pearls
The ocean floor is rich with both — the deep pays for your first galleon.
Oil
Ocean vents and arctic deposits; fuel for a naval economy.
Metal
Volcano and arctic ridges; hulls, cannons and ammo.
Element Shards
The volcano biome — and mission rewards, if you’re good.
Hexagons
Genesis’ own currency: earn them in missions, spend them anywhere.
SURVIVAL TIPS
Building
Build your harbour before your hall — a sheltered cove with deep-water anchorage beats any pretty cliff. Your real base is the galleon anyway.
Taming
A Bloodstalker turns the bog into a highway, and Megachelon are tamed at sea and become swimming islands — the Carousel’s favourite party trick.
Resources
Pearls and oil come from the deep, metal from the volcano — but hexagons buy what the sea won’t give. Run missions between cargo legs.
Navigation
Each biome is a world with its own rules — check your gear before the arctic and the lunar reaches, and never sail past the drop-off without a depth plan.
PvE Tips
Missions scale hard — bring a crew. And face Moeder before the Master Controller; the sea queen is the gentler teacher.
“Every tide on this sea comes back around. So will you.”
